Slight redness or heat sensation after the procedure may persist for about 2-3 hours.

After the procedure, focus on moisturizing to soothe dry skin and apply sunscreen diligently when going out.

Washing your face or applying makeup is possible on the day of the procedure, but avoid using stimulating peels or functional cosmetics.

Refrain from drinking alcohol, smoking, using saunas, jjimjilbangs (Korean bathhouses), and engaging in strenuous exercise for 2-3 days, as these can cause inflammation.

To maintain the sensation of heat (therapeutic effect), it is recommended to wash your face with lukewarm water for one week.

What is the difference between Thermage and Ultherapy?

Thermage uses high-frequency energy and primarily targets the dermis layer. The main effects include skin tightening and improvement of fine wrinkles. Ultherapy is a device that uses ultrasound, primarily acting on the fascial layer (SMAS layer). It is expected to have an effect of lifting sagging skin.

What is the recommended number of shots?

For treatment covering the entire face, including the forehead and neck, we generally recommend an average of 600 shots. For treatments around the eyes and under the eyes, the Thermage dedicated Eye Tip is used, and 225 shots are recommended for Eye Thermage.

Are there any precautions before the procedure?

To maximize the procedure's effect, you must remove electronic watches and jewelry before the Thermage FLX laser treatment. If metal objects are worn, there is a risk of burns because the energy may be transferred to the metal object instead of the handpiece. The procedure is not possible if you have an implanted cardiac defibrillator, or if you have permanent fixation pins inserted after facial contouring or fracture surgery.

What is the duration of the effect?

The timing of the Thermage FLX effect may include an immediate lifting sensation after the procedure, but the overall effect appears gradually over 2 to 4 months as new collagen is regenerated. Furthermore, the duration of the effect after the procedure may vary depending on skin condition and individual aging speed, but the collagen regeneration effect is continuously maintained for 10 months to over a year.
